What you get beyond the sound
The SANYO M X960K delivers an authentic boombox experience with tactile tactile switches, smooth rotary dials, and prominent twin analog VU level meters that bring cassette playback and radio tuning to life. With its multi-band radio reception and robust stereo speaker setup, it functions as both an engaging audio performer and a striking centerpiece for any vintage audio collection or interior space.
This is more than a used vintage device. A unit in this condition has already passed a long journey: it was selected, inspected, prepared, and photographed honestly so the buyer can understand exactly what is being purchased. Many similar units online may be cheaper, but they may also be dusty, incomplete, unserviced, cosmetically weaker, or sold without proper testing.
🧠 Collector’s / Model Note
The M-X960 series stands among SANYO’s most acclaimed and substantial boomboxes from the early 1980s golden era. Engineered with a heavy-duty chassis, multi-voltage capability, and multi-band radio coverage, it remains highly sought after by boombox enthusiasts and vintage audio collectors worldwide.
