Time That Still Sounds Alive
Close your eyes and return to the golden age of real audio. C.E.C. BD-2200 represents the tactile side of vinyl listening: a substantial cabinet, manual operation, classic controls, and the kind of analog presence that turns music playback into a ritual.

If you are reading this, you probably understand
You are not looking for another disposable modern device. You are looking for a vintage turntable with character, proper materials, and a layout that belongs in a serious hi-fi system. For vinyl listeners and classic audio enthusiasts, this model offers both visual charm and practical analog playback.

What you get beyond the sound
The construction described in the source combines a wooden cabinet, metal chassis, and a suspended inner structure. The tonearm and platter assembly are mounted on a floating subchassis supported by springs, a classic engineering approach intended to help isolate the playback system from external vibration and reduce acoustic feedback.

The belt-drive system uses a 4-pole synchronous motor, paired with a heavier platter and fully manual operation. The classic S-shaped tonearm with anti-skating and the included ORTOFON VMS-3E cartridge make this an appealing option for someone building a traditional vinyl setup with real analog personality.

This is more than a used vintage device. It is a classic turntable presented with clear factual details so the buyer can understand what is being purchased and how it fits into a vintage audio system.

🧠 Collector’s / Model Note
C.E.C. is well known among vintage audio buyers for producing turntables for the hi-fi market during the analog era. The BD-2200 follows a familiar suspended belt-drive design philosophy, pairing manual operation with an S-shaped tonearm and traditional cabinet styling. That combination continues to appeal to listeners who value mechanical simplicity and classic record-playing ritual.
