Time That Still Sounds Alive
Close your eyes and return to the golden age of real audio. This was the era when equipment was built not only to play music, but to become part of the room, part of the ritual, and part of the owner’s taste. B&W CDM-1 SPECIAL EDITION represents that feeling — mechanical presence, honest acoustic engineering, and the kind of natural character modern disposable electronics simply cannot copy.
🧠
Collector’s / Model Note
The CDM-1 Special Edition represents an upgraded refinement of the celebrated B&W CDM series, known for incorporating technologies directly inspired by the flagship Nautilus line into compact standmount monitors. Its sloping upper cabinet profile reduces internal standing waves and diffraction, making it an enduring benchmark in British loudspeaker design.
